For people ages 12–35 recently diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Evaluating an investigational treatment with close physician monitoring at every visit.

In the period soon after a type 1 diabetes diagnosis, the body often still makes some of its own insulin. This study evaluates an investigational treatment during that early window, with close physician monitoring throughout.

• Ages 12 to 35
• Diagnosed with type 1 diabetes within the recent past

What to expect

• All visits take place at our office at 2094 Merrick Ave, Merrick — no hospital queues, no overnight stays unless the study specifically requires them.

• A physician investigator oversees your care at every step, and study staff walk you through the consent process before anything begins.

• Taking part is always your choice. There is no cost to participate, and you can leave the study at any time without affecting your regular medical care.
